At the end of each semester, your grades are posted in the Grades area in SPIRE. Use the View My Grades page to check your grades and GPA for all the semesters you’ve been a student at UMass.

2. In the SPIRE Menu, go to Academics > Grades. The Select Term page will open, listing all the semesters for which you have been an active UMass student.

5. On the Select Term page, select a term, then click Continue. The View My Gradespage for the term you selected will open.

8. On the View My Grades page, under My Grade Report, review your classes, grades, and number of credits for each class. Note: For the current term, the Official Grade column will be blank.

11. In the Class Name column, click the title of a class to access its corresponding Class Detail page in the Schedule of Classes. On the Class Detail page, you wil find:
    • A course description
    • Any enrollment restrictions and notes (e.g., reserved seating, requisites, etc.).
    • Class capacity, enrollment, and waitlist information (if the class has an active SPIRE waitlist).
    • GenEd information (e.g., whether your class fulfills any General Education requirements).

          Step 5:

1. Under GPA, Grade Points, and Unit Totals, review your credits In Progress, Taken Toward GPA, the credits you Passed Toward GPA, and your total Grade Points. Note: The Current column lists information for the current term, and the Cumulative column lists information for all terms.
