Perusall is a collaborative reading and annotation tool. With Perusall, faculty can assign textbooks, articles, or PDFs to students as readings. Students can then annotate the readings and asynchronously respond to each other's comments and questions about the readings in context.
Perusall automatically generates optimal student groupings, grades students’ engagement to ensure they are prepared for class, and "nudges" those who need help to keep everyone on track.
In your Canvas course, from the left side course navigation menu, select Settings. The Settings page will open.
On the Settings page, select the Navigation tab and locate Perusall.
Enable Perusall by selecting the three dots for Perusall.
A dropdown menu will appear. Select Enable.
Scroll down and click Save. Perusall will appear on the Course Navigation.
Click Perusall in the course navigation menu, you will be directed to the web interface of Perusall and you will be able to connect your Canvas course to a Perusall course.
