Class Number: a 5-digit number used as a unique identifier for a course. All components of a class (e.g., lectures, discussions, labs, etc.) have their own Class Numbers. Use the Class Number (not the Course Number) to add, drop, or swap classes. Class Numbers change from one term to the next (even for the same class).
Course Number: the number that identifies a course in the Catalog (typically has 3 digits, but may also include letters). For example, 118 in COMM 118 or 391B in COMP-LIT 391B.
This check box is selected by default; in this case, search results only include classes with available seats. Clear this check box if you wish to see all classes, both open and closed.

Note: Matriculated University students may be eligible to self-enroll in UWW classes using SPIRE. Eligibility for UWW self-enrollment varies by term and class. Students who are eligible to self-enroll must have a UWW Enrollment Appointment before they can do so. All other students can use SPIRE only to view UWW classes and must contact University Without Walls directly to register.
