The tool offers many different types of questions (Multiple Choice, Short Answer, True/False, etc.). Many types of questions can be graded automatically. Instructors can control the release dates and times for quizzes, set time limits, allow multiple attempts, grant extensions, and more.
Canvas also offers an alternative testing option called New Quizzes. Canvas has stopped development for Classic Quizzes, we recommend using New Quizzes in your Canvas course.
