What's a NetID? More Information About IT Accounts

Your IT Account gives you access to many UMass Amherst campus services, including most IT-supported technology services (email, SPIRE, Canvas, and more).

Your NetID serves as your username for your IT account.

Some services may require you to use your NetID email address - [NetID]@umass.edu - to log in. This may be different from your primary university email address.
