iClicker Classic contains a built-in gradebook. From the iClicker Classic gradebook you can review, edit, and export your polling sessions, questions, and student data. You need to sync your Moodle roster with iClicker Classic to associate polling data with specific students and upload the scores to your Moodle Gradebook.
- Open iClicker Classic (Consider creating an alias or shortcut on your desktop for easy access). The Welcome to iClicker Classic window opens.
- Select your course and click Open Gradebook. The iClicker Classic gradebook window opens.
- Click Sync Roster to download your Moodle course roster. The Sync Roster window opens. The synchronization is automatic.
Note: If you have not yet logged into Moodle from the Gradebook tab on the Settings menu of your course in iClicker Classic, the Log in to your learning management system window opens. In the LMS Username field, enter your NetID (You do not need to enter your NetID password). In the Security Key field, enter the security key from the iClicker block in your Moodle course (see: Integrate Moodle and iClicker Classic), then click Log In. The Select Your Course window opens. In the Select Your Course window, choose your course from the list and click Select. - When the download is finished, the sync roster window appears with a confirmation message.
- A list of students in the left-most column and a list of your polling sessions scores appears to the right.
Note: If your course does not appear in this list, it is likely because your Moodle course has not yet been made available to students. Hidden courses cannot be synced with iClicker Classic. For instructions on opening your course, see Make your Moodle Course Available to Students.
Each Session column in the iClicker Classic grade book window is labeled by polling session date. If you conduct two sessions on the same day, they appear separately.
Note: If you choose Resume Session from the iClicker Classic Home window when polling, the date appears as a single column in the iClicker Classic gradebook.
